Adults
Adults come to therapy to untangle what feels heavy, find clarity, and move forward with intention.
Amy helps adults understand what’s happening beneath the surface, then guides them in practicing new patterns that create real change.
This isn’t endless talking in circles.
It’s thoughtful, structured, and focused on helping you move forward.

Who it’s for
Amy works with adults navigating:
Anxiety, overwhelm, or burnout
Relationship stress or communication challenges
Life transitions (career changes, parenthood, divorce, loss)
Perfectionism or high-functioning anxiety
People-pleasing and boundary struggles
Grief or unresolved past experiences
Identity shifts or “I don’t know who I am anymore” moments
Inside the session
Sessions are collaborative, grounded, and tailored to you.
We explore patterns, beliefs, and emotional responses while building practical tools you can use in everyday life.
Sessions are 45 minutes. Between sessions, you will practice small, intentional shifts that build momentum over time.
We don’t just process feelings. We practice new responses immediately in the session.
We measure progress so you can see change happening.
Our approach
Amy uses IAT to blend:
Emotion coaching and nervous system regulation
Insight-based exploration
Practical skill-building and communication tools
Values clarification and aligned decision-making
Accountability between sessions
What makes this work unique is the focus on intentional action. Adults learn what to do when anxiety spikes, conflict shows up, or old patterns resurface.
Common goals
Clients often come in hoping to:
Feel calmer and more grounded
Reduce anxiety and overthinking
Build healthier boundaries and trengthen relationships
Stop repeating the same patterns
Feel more confident and self-trusting
Move through transitions with clarity
Our goal is meaningful change, not endless therapy. We help adults build skills they can carry forward, and return whenever life brings a new season.
